Continental ContiProContact Tires any good?

Has anyone owned these tires? I've read some bad reviews about them. I'm thinking about getting a set for my 04 VW Jetta GLS Thanks!

1. I don't know on specific models of tires but in general I don't like continental tires. They seem to have a higher than average failure rate.
