Continental Airline Tickets

is my ticket still booked?

I booked a flight to America with continental airlines three days ago and I still haven't received an email confirming my reservation. Does this mean that my ticket isn't booked?

  1. If the travel agent/company that you initially booked with supply 'etickets', then you will not receive a ticket in the post. With 'etickets', you just turn up at the checkin desk on the day of departure with your passport/visa and they will then isue your flight ticket. Same scenario for the return trip too.
  2. Hopefully you have noted the reference number at the end of the booking procedure? Or even have a print-out. You will find a six character code (alphanumeric), for example: GY7NVM Goto http://www.checkmytrip.com and enter this code and your last name. It will tell you if you're in the system. Maybe you've just misspelled your e-mail address and that's the reason why you haven't got any response. If this fails, you will have to call the airline and tell them what flight you've booked and your last name. They will be able to see if you're booked or not. Then ask them to send an e-mail receipt.
  3. It is 1 of 2 things: 1.The ticket is not booked. 2.You did not enter your email address while booking. What to do: Call up Continental's toll free number and if you have the confirmation number tell it to them or if you don't have the confirmation number tell them your last name because they have all the flight bookings. Continental Toll Free # : 1. 800.523.FARE (800.523.3273) - Travel reservations to cities in the U.S. 50 states and Mexico 2. 800.231.0856 - Travel reservations to cities in other international destinations
