Are the fans in your favorite NBA teams arena Loud?

I'm a New Jersey Nets fan (been going to games for over a decade) and the fans at the Izod (and the former Continental Airlines Arena) are very quiet. They rarely chant "defense" or "lets go Nets" or really anything. Even Devils fans in Newark are quiet as well (getting outchanted by Rangers fans and Canadiens fans). Milkias - I've been going to Nets games for over a decade, when they won the Eastern Conference Finals 02/03 and the fans were still quiet. Glenn T - damn, you got to see the dominant Knicks era, that must have been awesome

  1. As a Lakers fan....some nights yes, others no. There are too many people just there to be there and not watch the game. But for the most part LA fans are very good, always come out and support the team(of course for the Lakers but Dodgers too). Ive heard louder but theyre loud at times, it takes a lot to please us out here in LA.
  2. Sonics games were pretty loud back in the day. Too bad they aren't a team anymore.
  3. thats cuz everybody hates nets.. lol there the worst team in nba history!! when thunder were sonics in seattle the arena was always loud. sns arena was even louder.. the portland one was quiet tho. plz answer mines ? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuUAs7KcE6LhNSwpVCMhfXvsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20100129102117AADeLFw
  4. Cavs fans are pretty loud. I've been to a couple of games and they always cheer on and get really into it.
  5. i used to go to the nets games all the time, and watch the games on tv. it got very loud when kidd was dishing a flashy pass, or carter was dunking or hitting a gamewinner. but now a days i just make the commute to new york. MSG, i went to my first ever garden game last november, and saw my favorite team the celtics. kg hit a last second shot, so i think i'll have to get pumped at the garden until the nets can have a winning season again
  6. It's always loud in staples, mostly for the lakers
  7. Warriors fans are always loud in Oracle Arena. They support their team win or losing and are jam-packed practically every game. Great energy with Warriors fans.
  8. Bulls Games Are Always Loud,
  9. Celtics fans (todays) are ok, but it's not like the old garden with Bird, McHale and Chief! I went there one time and the building was so loud ( against the bulls, regular season) that when you went to the mens room you could actually go into a stall and SEE the water vibrating in the toilet!
  10. sure as hell they are
  11. Laker fans are too upscale to cheer. Some people just come to Laker games just to see other people like an event or a meeting place or something. Sometimes it can get loud especially during playoff time but too many rich people in Staples to get up and root for them. Heck some of them aren't even Laker fans.
  12. Hawks fans are CRAZY (when they show up) and really get loud against rivals like the Celtics
  13. I'm a Knick fan across the river. The cheers and any other noise in the garden are not as loud as when Patrick ewing, Larry Johnson, Latrell Sprewell and Allan Houston were playing for the Knicks, the loudest I've heard was when Larry Johnson had that 4 point play back in the 1999 conference finals against the pacers. I think over the years the fans grew soft. The loudest fans today I think are the Hawks and the Cavs. You probably know why.
  14. Yeah the fans at Oracle arena are very loud! That's why it's called the 'Roaracle.'
