Continental Airline Tickets

How can I prove I was on an airline flight in August 2009?

I no longer have any boarding pass or receipt, but I need proof that I was on a Northwest Airlines flight back in August. Calling the customer service hot-line as so far been a waste because of the merger of Northwest with Delta this January. Does anyone know of any flight logs or archives that could help me in my search?

  1. Try your credit card company. When your ticket was issued in exchange for the amount charged to your card, there is a record that contains the ticket number. Once you have the ticket number, it is easy to track down the fligth record even after the airline merger.
  2. sorry, you are ood-scray without your boarding pass. Credit card receipt only proves that you bought a ticket, not that you were actually on the flight
  3. unfortunately, the only way, which i can see, is to have a valid boarding pass..
  4. Were you a frequent flyer with the airline, if so you it should show up in your points statement the date of the flight, and you generally can't earn the points unless it was you taking the flight.
