  1. I hope that I'm too late for your homework assignment. So, I'll try to answer your question. The answer is "F" none of the above. The Second Continental Congress approved the Declaration of Independence. It was the Constitutional Convention of 1787 that discussed some aspect of actual governance. The only one that could be the answer is "C". They offered George Washington the Crown for the new country. The original GW turned it down, so they instituted a president rather than a king.
