Continental Airline Tickets

can i use a prepaid visa debit card to purchase an airline ticket through us airways?

everywhere i look says i can, including the visa website. and according to customer service it should work. but us airways customer service seems to think it wont. has anyone ever done this? has anyone ever had a problem doing so? also, if the card works, whose name do i use, the passenger or the purchaser?

2. well only if you have enough money on the card and you can only use one card online so if the airfare is $100.00 and your card is good for $200 and you have register your name and address on the prepaid card website then it should work but if your card is only $200 and airfare is $400 then it wont work unless you go to a ticket office or travel agent and either use two card or pay cash or credit for the reminder and you would use the passenger name
