Do military members get free checked bags on continental flights?

The website clearly says: The following customers will not be charged service fees to check a first or second bag (bags must meet weight and size restrictions): # Active U.S. military personnel # U.S. military dependents traveling with U.S. military personnel on personal travel # U.S. military dependents traveling on official business (with documentation) They always give my husband an issue and say he has to be on orders. Anyone else dealt with this??

1. If it says it on the website, I'm pretty sure they mean it.
2. Your husband will need to provide a document to the Continental representatives saying he is on orders. Otherwise, he will be charged for baggage.
