Continental Airline Tickets - Is 50 minutes enough time to make a connection at PHX with US Airways for both flights?

Is 50 minutes enough time to make a connection at PHX with US Airways for both flights?

I am thinking it will be IF my first flight isn't delayed or something. If there is a delay, they will get me on the next flight, right? I have never flown US Airways, so I don't know how they will handle it, even if it is there fault. I have exactly 50 minutes, so any tips or anything like that would be great! Thanks! Oh, and by the way, this flight isn't until July 3 (a Sunday) in the morning. If that helps any!

Well if your plane is so late, they will get you on another one. No question. If ther is only 10 minutes to get next plane, for me, they once saw, I had to be on that plane, and knew I was on a late plane before that, so they waited for me, or atleast knew I was on the way even though I made it from one plane to the next in under 10 minutes. 50 minutes will be plenty of time. US Airways in Phoenix has about 15 docks. Or so. About 1/8th mile or longer? So you won't have to go too far. Plus on your boarding pass you get in the morning or whenever, it will say your number to go to, i forget that word.. but it isnt dock.
U S Airways is based in Phoenix. If your flight arrives on time 50 minutes is more than enough time. All U S Airways flights arrive / depart from the same concourse. It's just a matter of walking to the out bound flights boarding gate. 15 minutes max.
