Free Checked Baggage with Continental Airlines?

I purchased two domestic round trip tickets through continental.com using a continental one pass plus credit card not in my name. Do I still receive free checked baggage? On the website it says that if you purchase any tickets (first class or economy) using your continental credit card you will receive on free checked bag each way. Now it doesn't say if the tickets have to be in the card holders name........ here is exactly what it says on the website: Continental Airlines Chase primary credit Cardmembers get their first checked bag free.

1. Highly doubtful as the airline does charge for checked bags. If you fly first class you should be able to get free checked baggage.
