can you get a refund when your airline ticket decreases on continental airlines?
I bought a ticket on Continental Airlines and less than a week later the prices has dropped by $100 dollars. I purchased two tickets, so that is $200 less I would have spent. Can I get a refund or the lesser ticket price?

- No, that is how life works
- It all depends on the airline and/or the agency/site that you bought it from. I myself have never heard of an airline doing this for the customer. It can happen when using travel sites(travelocity.com, expedia.com, kayak.com etc. and mind you I am not recommending these sites. I have never used them.). There are many out there. Typically the earlier you buy a ticket from the time of the flight, the cheaper.
- No unfortunately that just called unlucky.I bought a new house and 6 months later the builder offered the identical one next to me for,£30,000 less. Its just hard luck.
- No you cannot. If you think about it, if the ticket price goes up by $100, Continental will not come back to you for the difference so you should not expect them to refund you the difference just because the price dropped by $100.
- Probably not. But if you bought directly from Continental, it can't hurt to ask for it. They don't have to give it to you but sometimes airlines will for the sake of customer relations. If you bought it through a 3rd party, I'd say forget it.
- lol you are soooo funny! NO of course you can't get a refund of the price difference. you already purchased them.
- Continental NEVER gives refunds of any kind for any reason.
