Continental Airline Tickets

What is the carry on and personal item limit on Continental Airlines.?

I am flying Continental Airlines, what is the carry on and personal item limit for this airline? I know they want a small personal item. But at what dimensions do they want both items. :)

1. "The maximum combined linear measurement (L + W + H) of the carry-on bag is 45 inches (115 cm)up to 14 in x 9 in x 22 in. The maximum weight of the carry-on bag is 40 pounds (18 kg)." I don't see any dimension limitations on the personal bag. I'm sure that as long as it fits under the seat in front of you, you'll be fine. Things like a purse, backpack, briefcase, or laptop bag are acceptable.
