Carry-ons on continental flights from england?
I am leaving on Friday from Houston to London on a Continental flight. I understand you're permitted the usual carry-on in addition to a personal item (purse, laptop bag, etc) on the flight there, but I heard that on the flight back to the U.S. they only allow you to take the personal item, not the carry-on. Is this true?

- Im not sure, but ive never heard of such a restriction. One thing airrlines sometimes do on full flights is ask you to check large carryons via the planeside valet, meaning they take your bag on the jetway before you get on the plane, and give it back once you land. But like i said im not sure, so there may be some restriction im unaware of.
- What Chris is referring to is for regional jets only because the carry ons are too big for the overhead bin. Of course you can still bring 2 carry ons. Someone must be bsing.
