What exactly is US airways unaccompanied minor policy?

On their website it says, "Children 15-17 may travel unaccompanied on non-stop and connecting flights without US Airways assistance." but it also says, "Children ages five to 17 years of age may travel without a parent or legal guardian as unaccompanied minors on nonstop flights only." So, can a 15 year old can fly alone, without paying the unacompanied minor fee, on connecting flights?

  1. You may as well call US Air to ask one of the reservation people this question, because we can only guess at an answer. If we guess wrong, then you may end up with a difficult problem on your hands. Get the correct answer from the people who make the rules.
