what to do with my luggage with those connecting flights different airlines?

hi.. its my first time in international flight! do i have to get my luggage every stop over? because i have a connecting flights and different airlines... my flight is from Philippines - NARITA (All Nippon Airways)- then NARITA - NEWARK(Continental Airlines) then NEWARK-ORLANDO (Continental Airlines)... please help me what to do with my luggage. .thanks..

1. Your luggage will be checked all the way to Orlando but you will have to take it through customs with you each time you enter a new country
