Does Continental Airlines ever have sales on international airline tickets?

I was wondering if Continental Airlines ever has a sale on international airfare. I was thinking they may hold sales during the holidays. If anyone has purchased international tickets from Continental before, please let me know when the best time to purchase tickets is. Our trip is scheduled in March 2012.

1. Always. You should definitely consider signing up for their email deals. Also sign up for United since they will be completely merged soon. Usually a good idea is to buy int'l ticket 6months before. 3 months domestic
2. Very unlikely during the holidays as that is their busy period, but depends on your destination; you would have to check the website for exact information. Sign up on their website for fare alerts, but expect the low fares to be during the low season when fewer people are flying. That would be early to late fall, and in the spring prior to Spring break.
