Continental Airline Tickets

Are hard drives allowed on Continental flights?

Going out of state next month and was wondering if hard-drives are still considered contraband? A few years ago I read it somewhere... and wanted to know beforehand so it wont get seized. Any ideas?

  1. Never heard of them ever being contraband, Every laptop has a hard drive inside. I have carried external hard drives several times. No one cares.
  2. Yes, you can bring this. Also it's not up to the airline what you can bring on board it's the TSA.
