Can you change the name on a Continental airline plane ticket?

Trying to see if I can change the name on an airline ticket to someone else. If anyone knows, please answer. Thanks!

As with any other airline in the US, you canot change the name on a ticket/transfer the ticket to another person Depending on the contract of carriage of the particular ticket you purchased, you might be able to cancel the ticket and use the value of the ticket (minus a change fee) towards another ticket. This will alos involve paying the current airfare for the particular flight.
