Given the choice, would you take US Airways International or pay $100 more and take Continental?
Which is the best/worst airline? I am flying to central america and the best rates are Spirit, US Airways, Delta or Continental - who would you recommend?

- Never flown Spirit but it's an economy airlines which means more seats/less leg room. The other 3 are about the same. I'd fly either Delta or Continental for the frequent flyer miles as they are in the same alliance.
- Take Continental..US airways is always late...isn't there another airlines you could take besides these 2...southwest is the best, Internet check in. and great service
- Continental or Delta. USAirways changed their "change" policy. Where it used to be that if you changed your return, as long as the same fare category was available, you only paid the change penalty (most airlines are like this). USAir now requires that the entire flight be repriced at the current airfare and you pay the difference between the two airfares plus the change penalty. It can amount to some pretty hefty charges for doing a simple change. Plus USAir seems to have acquired America West proclivity for cancelling or being late when the two airlines merged.
- Spirit I hear is decent. I am assuming that you are not a frequent flyer member so there is no particular loyalty to any airline. Continental was ranked highest US carrier for service on international flights. Also Continental flies to more destinations in Central America than the other carriers mentioned. I would also factor in besides the price, the departure time, how full the plane is and how long of a layover if any you will have.
