How is Continentals First Class compared to US Airways domestic?

Is it easy to get upgraded on Continental if you are elite?

1. Continental often upgrades their elite members- I was on my last trip into Newark =] It usually happens one out of every two flights, depending on the number of passengers who have paid full fare for an F ticket. They have fairly good food (and they actually provide first class customers with food!), better seat pitch, and nicer cabin staff than US Air. The airplanes are also cleaner. Hope this helps!
2. 1. Continental ranked best for international business class in the US. I myself do believe that no way US Airways could match CO quality/services. 2. Yes, if you are Elite member, you have great chances to be upgraded when CO's flights are overbooked in coach section. Good luck!
3. continental all the way. I flew US Airways first class, I've had better service in southwest economy than in us airways first class. Trust me on this one, continental is the way to go. Never fly us airways unless your life depends on it.
