Will I be treated as an adult on my US Airways flight?
I am 17, and will fly US Airways with two connections in major airports. We did not request assistance, so will I pretty much be left to make my connections and claim baggage/leave my destination airport myself? I am planning to take a 10-minute taxi ride myself from the destination airport to the place I'm going to, but I don't know if the airline will force me to have someone there picking me up (that won't be possible - I'm going to camp)

- no once youre 17 youre considered an adult with airlines. no one will even know your age unless youve asked for assistance.
- I say that they would treat you as a normal adult, if you're not fooling around and making a total idiot of yourself, then of course you'd be treated as an adult.
- The airline will treat you like an adult. My little sister flew in to Vegas at 16 and they didn't concern themselves with her at all.
- From their website: Children 15-17 may travel unaccompanied on non-stop and connecting flights without US Airways assistance.
- They won't require you to be picked up since you did not request assistance as a child (non-adult). If you get confused at any airport, most airport / airline employees will help point you in the right direction.
- I don't think you will have any problem with that. They should treat you like an adult.
