What do you think of US Airways?

I might fly with US Airways this summer, but i REALLY would rather like to fly Southwest.... Whats your opinion?

1. Just look at the Airline Quality Ratings Survey from 2007, announced this year: 1. Air Tran 2. Jet Blue 3. Southwest 4. Northwest 5. Frontier 6. Continental 7. Alaska 8. United 9. American 10. Delta 11. U.S. Airways 12. Mesa 13. SkyWest 14. Comair 15. American Eagle 16. Atlantic Southeast It's the difference between flying with an airline in 3rd place, and an airline in 11th place. Honestly, I've heard a TON of horror stories with U.S. Airways. Southwest Airlines is like the god of low-cost airlines, featuring top notch service on every flight. I would definitely recommend Southwest over U.S. Air any day.
2. I have only flown with Delta and American, so I hope US Airways is good too! We're going to fly with them in 8 days!
3. I live in upstate NY where the travel options are approximately US Airways or Greyhound. US is a fairly lousy airline, but these days they're all fairly lousy airlines. They'll get you there. If you change in Philadelphia, the restaurants and shopping in the airport are pretty good, for an airport. Be sure to try a cheese steak.
4. US Airways' First Class is teh l4m3..! Better off with Southwest..

6. I try not to fly US Airways. They are the first airline to announce they are getting rid of free snacks on their flights. Also they have a high rate of mishandled baggage. Southwest is much better.
7. i didnt like the experience either, bad service, no flight attendants ever smiled or looked happy, gum under my seat, cramped, you name it.
8. Go with us airways! Southwest doesn't even give you a seat number which makes you feel like you're with a herd of cattle when you board because you are fighting with a bunch of strangers for a seat.
