What does a continental breakfast in England consist of?
I am traveling to London in early October. I normally don't even eat continental breakfasts in the USA, but I am interested in what the British continental breakfast consists of generally.

- coffee, fruit juice, cereals (cornflakes etc.), croissants, butter, jam ... maybe toast and some fresh fruit if you're lucky, maybe also some cheese or cold meat (e.g. ham) if you're very lucky
- odd that you'd want a continental breakfast in London considering we arn't continental, the typical English breakfast is fried bread, fried tomatoes, fried mushrooms, bacon, fried eggs, sausages and beans..with a cup of tea. continental breakfasts here are usually very weak, usually just croissant with abit of jam
- get the traditional breakfast...
