What is the service like on the Continental Air Line?

I want to book a flight to China, i searched the web for the lowest air line tickets. Continental Air Line had the lowest prices.I am afraid to book it because i am unfamiliar with their services. Maybe the reason they have the lowest price is because of their low quality of service. I don't know. Please help.

  1. Continental Airlines are ok. They're from the USA, so they have to abide by the laws and standards used in the industry. They're not the best airline in the world (such as BA, Lufthansa, KLM, etc), but they're decent. The quality of air travel has really gone down lately, so it's hard to expect much from any airline. Continental isn't the worst, though. If you get a good deal, then go for it!
  2. I have never had a problem with Continental. Out of all the American major airlines, Continental would be my first pick. If you got a good price, go for it because the price will not be low for long.
  3. Continental is definitely tops among American carriers, but it is only adequate when compared to its Asian and European competitors. Only fly Continental if you are a FF, have a really cheap ticket, or if they're the only carrier to your destination....
  4. Cheaper price does not mean low quality of service. I send quite a few clients through Continental Airlines from Delhi to EWR. Their experience has been good. Inflight services are excellent and the food is good. Because of the competition many airlines offer cheaper tickets. The fare structure varies according to the date of booking. If you book the ticket nearer to the date of departure, then it will be costly. If you book well in advance, then you get cheaper price.

I have only flown on them one time, they were great, even a little more roomer than some of the others.
