Continental Airline Tickets

i recenttly put cont procontact tires on ford taurus 06 confused as to correct psi?

the orig. set were continentals 215-60-16 and about 58000 miles went bad with blistering. now all replaced on door label says 30 psi tires say 44psi which is were they are now. Does car make model determine it or the tire specs... HELP bfor I ruin some more
