Tire sealant to seal air suspension? (92 Lincoln Continental)?

Someone suggested that I could use Slime Tire Sealant to seal the hole in the suspension airbag on my 92 Lincoln Continental. They said I can disconnect the air hose and squeeze in some slime to seal it up. Will this work?

  1. it might work temporarily... I don't think it will work very well for too long simply because the air pressure in the suspension is much higher psi than a tire which is around 30-35 psi normally.
  2. won't work the walls of the air bag are to thin
  3. It isn't likely to work, but the potential explosion of the entire air suspension system might be interesting. Remember, that fix-a-flat stuff is flammable....and you're considering adding it to a system that uses an air pump....
