- Only if they are (code-share) partners.
- You should check with the mileage programs for each, we use Continentals OnePass and I can get credit for mileage flown on Northwest to my OnePass account. In fact during check in on-line for a NW flight this week, I entered my wife's and daughter's One Pass numbers into the NW check for they would get credit for the miles. Good Luck
- If you have already flown, there is not much you can do to transfer miles between NW and CO's programs. Points.com ::may:: be able suggest a complicated set of steps to get from one to the other, but generally you will lose too many miles for the process to be worth it. That said, if you have enough miles in your Northwest Worldperks account to actually get a whole ticket, you can have them ticket you on Continental or one of their other Sky Team alliance members, provided that there is availability. Depending on the airline, you will need to call in or use their website to do this, see http://www.nwa.com/worldperks/redeemmiles/fltawards/ . If you have not yet flown, you can enter your Continental OnePass number as your frequent flyer information for the Northwest flights. This will let you earn the miles on your Continental account and avoid the whole mess of transferring miles. Depending on the fare you booked, you may earn reduced miles this way.
