Does it cost to become a One Pass Elite Status member?

How much does it cost to become a One Pass Elite Status member for Continental Airlines? I don't fly much, I just want to know whether its possible for me to become an Elite on Continental Airlines.

1. it's not a status you can buy, it's an earned status, the "one pass elite" status is a frequent flyer status, these people fly ALOT on the airline that they are an elite member of, so of course the airline is going to kiss the asses of people that fly 25,000 + miles in a one year time.
2. Just to add to the other answer, yes, it sure does cost. Can you imagine the amount of money you would have to spend on flights to reach that level?
