- Commercial Flights resumed at Akron-Canton Airport, Terminal Building open Tuesday, July 19, 2011 @ 1:58PMAkron-Canton Airport is fully-operational again after commercial flights were suspended this morning because of flooding from heavy storms. The airport reopened at 11:30 am. Flights were suspended from 8:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. as power was shut down as a safety precaution to pump out water.
